Founder: Subhash Chander Jain
Mr. Subhash Chander Jain, Born in a business family dealing in Pharmaceuticals since 1890, carried forward the legacy by starting a Pharma Manufacturing Unit along with his father, by the name of “Drug Deal Corporation” in 1955.
In 1962 they took their family business to a new level with their brands Plusprin and Equibram which fully captured the paracetamol and anti-histamine market then.
Mr. Subhash Jain saw a lot of potential in the Herbal Market as everybody wanted to go natural and herbal to fight common ailments.
His vision to cater this demand & need of effective Ayurvedic Medicines, in 1984 formed a new Manufacturing Company named “SAS PHARMACEUTICALS”. After an in-depth study of Ayurveda, Mr. Jain came up with effective formulations using herbal extracts & concentrates for both prescription and over- the- counter (OTC) medicines that started a new wave & trend in the market.

The founder of SAS Pharmaceuticals Mr. Subhash C. Jain passed on the baton of this business to the “5th generation of the family” his son Mr. Sandeep Jain who joined this business in 1994 at the young age of 22. A Science graduate from a premium college St. Stephens, Delhi University and a post graduate in import-export management, Mr. Jain Envisioned exponential growth for the company and brought about the knowhow which was instrumental in innovations. He thereby achieved substantial growth for the company. He introduced many new products and is still improvising the existing range to make it scientific, controlled and result oriented. He has been efficiently monitoring all business activities of SAS.
Under his leadership, SAS has created a bench mark in delivering timely supplies and has earned a name for stability, quality & trust amongst the industry, physicians, dealers, clients and employees.
After 5 years of rigorous research, Mr. Sandeep Jain, along with his research & technical team, is coming up with two new formulations which are a breakthrough in Ayurvedic Industry and are one of its kinds to be launched first time in India by SAS in March 2014
