Ayurveda is the ancient & holistic system of treatment practiced in India for more than 5000 years. The word Ayurveda belongs to Sanskrit where Ayur means life and Veda means knowledge. Therefore, ayurveda can be classified as knowledge of life or science of life. Ayurveda is considered world’s oldest system of medicine. It is also called Indian Traditional system of medicines.
